The Flask

Bamboo-Woven Vacuum Flask

Two layers, on purpose. The outside carries the craft; the inside carries the water. That split is what makes the piece both beautiful and defensible on compliance.

Pouring from the bamboo flask into a cup

From Grove to Morning Table

Three steps, no shortcuts

  • 1. Woven — bamboo strips woven by hand into a shell, tight, warm, slightly different every time.
  • 2. Lined — a high-borosilicate glass liner fitted inside, sealed with a silicone ring, cushioned on a thickened base.
  • 3. Finished — a rope-wrapped handle, a wooden or mesh stopper, and a final check before it is ready for mornings.

Our Story

The wonder of bamboo

Bamboo is a grass, not a tree: it regrows from its own roots after harvest and matures in a few years. From a workshop in Anji since 2019, we built a brand on that fact — and on the idea that a flask should be kept, not thrown away.

Why Bamboo, Why Now

Fast-growing outside, honest inside

We keep the bamboo where it shines — the exterior, the story, the hand feel — and keep water contact to glass and food-grade parts.

A story worth telling

Every shell is woven by hand. The craft shows on a shelf, in a gift set and on a breakfast table.

Safe by design

Glass liner as the food-contact surface under FDA 21 CFR and EU 84/500/EEC (Pb/Cd) frameworks, bamboo exterior per LFGB panel, REACH SVHC screening. Test reports and Declaration of Conformity available on request.

Made for daily use

Hot mornings, cold evenings, home, gifting and slow rituals. One flask, many uses.

Questions

Before you ask

Does the bamboo touch the water?

No. The bamboo is the exterior shell — decorative, non food-contact. Water only touches the glass liner and food-grade parts (silicone ring, stoppers).

How long does it keep drinks hot?

Supplier test figures, reference only: hot water 6h ≥75°C, 12h ≥63°C, 24h ≥55°C; cold water 6h ≤10°C, 12h ≤15°C, 24h ≤20°C. Lab conditions; results vary with environment.

Can the glass inner be replaced?

Yes. Unscrew the base strips and the liner can be swapped — the flask is made to be kept, not discarded.

How long does delivery take?

Orders ship from China. Once dispatched, typical transit is 7–10 days to the United States and 7–9 days to the United Kingdom. Shipping is free.

Is the flask handmade?

Yes — each shell is woven by hand, not by machine. Slight joints, burrs and colour variation are normal; they are part of the craft, not defects.
